| Fuck ice. Fuck snow. Fuck winter.
Got in a small accident yesterday. Hit a parked car. I'm fine. Car's going to cost $1400 and change to fix. That's actually a huge relief. I thought it was going to be way more expensive. Using a free loaner from the body shop. Shittiest car I've ever been in. It's an old, and I mean old, Ford Escort. Gotta be at least 15 years old. It doesn't have a CD player. A tape deck is also conspicuously missing. Slow as hell too. Oh well. It's free. Car's going to be ready around Tuesday or so.
Everyone gets in one accident in their life, I figure. It's good that I got mine out of the way so early.
Exams start today @ 4pm. It's the easy one today, Law. The hard ones are next week, Accounting, Marketing, Microeconomics. I'll study for those over the weekend.
Have fun y'all

| Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
This year I've been busy!
Last Friday I set compudude24204's puppy on fire (-66 points). In January I ate my brussel sprouts (1 points). In February sacrificiallama and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). Last Wednesday I gave _ash_leigh_ a life-saving blood transfusion (50 points). Last Saturday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points).
Overall, I've been nice (322 points). For Christmas I deserve a shiny red ball!

| So, someone on here sent me a nudge so that I'd update my journal. And since I like this person, I shall comply.
So there's not a whole lot going on. I've been working a lot, which is good. I need the money. I got a raise at work. I thought it was time to ask because I've been there since March, and they've hired and fired people during that time. So I'm up to $8/hour. It's not a whole lot, but it's something. I think I'll ask for another one in a few months. Probably in March. I'll have been there for a year, so I think that'd be a good time.
School hasn't been overly hard. I learned lots of what I'm doing when I took the first trip through. Pretty much Law, Marketing, and English have been the easiest. Accouting is not too bad, although I bombed the first term test. When the guy sitting next to you gets an 88%, and that is four times your mark, things are not looking good. Although, then next term test (of Friday) is on stuff that I understand. So that shouldn't be too bad. Mircoeconomics is just stupid. My teacher is at least 10-15 minutes late for every class. I just had a term test in that, and I think I did well. I won't ace it, but I'll pass.
The area of love could use some work though. Maybe. I dunno. Females are so damn confusing. More on this when I know what's going on.
I read in the paper yesterday that the "Native Occupation" in Caledonia could never end. Dumb natives. Fuck, stop being a burden on society and do some fucking work. Spend the money that the government gives you on what it's supposed to be spent on. And that's not SUVs, or HDTVs, or drugs. It's supposed to be for infrastructure so that you don't live in shitty areas with no water.
All the OPP is worried about is another Ipperwash where the protester was killed by s police sniper. You know what? Fuck 'em. They're breaking the law. Arrest their lazy, good-for-nothing asses and throw them in jail. DOn't worry about the so-called "persecution". If they want to live in Canada, obey the laws. It's not that hard to comprehend.
Anywho, that's all that's new and exciting (which really isn't much, if anything at all) in my life.
Talk at you in the future,

| I have discovered something of great import. This discovery will shake the foundation of humaity itself. It is so earth-shaking, that I fear posting it because it will mark the end of the world as we know it.
The discovery is as follows
Having a three hour break between classes, on a Friday, sucks major ass. Here I sit in the library of my school, wasting time until my 4 o'clock class. My first class ended at 12:30, so I suppose it's a three and a half hour break. Now if I had some friends to hang out with, it wouldn't be so bad. But sitting here, listening to music and watching dumb videos on YouTube, is starting to get boring.
Oh well.

| Warning. Relationship rant. If you don't want to hear me whine about anything, disregard this post.
Ok. So what the fuck? I've been talking to this girl, and hanging out with her at school. So I ask her to a movie for Saturday night. She tells me that she's going to see her mom. Ok, that's fine. So we make, what I believed to be, solid plans to go to one on Sunday after she's done work. She had told me that she would be done at 12:30 and to give her a call then. At 10:30am I get a text message saying, and I quote, "I don't think im ready to date yet, im sorry" (it's a text, hence the grammar mistakes, but whatever). To be honest, I was confused (and maybe even a bit hurt). We had been hanging out at school for about a week, but chatting on MSN for almost 2 weeks. And during that time, she had said that she had a crush on me. So here I was thinking that I might be able to have a girlfriend (which I haven't had in almost 3 years) and, to be honest, I was kind of excited. So that text message came out of left field. Out of the blue. No forewarning whatsoever. So I was talking to another friend, and relayed this exchange to her. She said that the "not ready for dating" line is usually used when they (meaning females) just want to be friends. And you know what, that fucking figures. Pretty much every girl that I have ever liked was/is either dating someone already or just wanted to be friends. I mean what the fuck? Am I that horrible to be around? Am I grotesquely ugly or something? Do I have parsley in my teeth? Tell me!
Maybe I'm just reading into this too much. But when you're insecure, as I am, that tends to happen. I've always thought into things too much. This maybe be nothing. Most likely that's the case. We'll see.
Whatever. That's all. I'm done.

| Wow. My arms, hurt. Mainly it's my shoulders. I've started working out at the gym at school. I did some weight training yesterday, and I cam barely move my arms. I've also found that my left arm is really weak. It was only moving because my left hand was holding onto the same thing that my right hand was moving. I was trying to make my left do the pushing, but it was having none of that. Stupid arm. I'm going to have to talk to the guy that helped me make up the plan that I have. My plan is one day; 30 mins of cardio, then weights and the second day is 60 mins of cardio. I've only been a few times, but I can almost feel a difference. It's good. It helps me sleep better too (like I needed help in that department).
Anywho, school is going pretty well. I'm enjoying my law and accounting classes. My microeconomis class isn't really that great, but it's OK. Marketing is good. English is the same as the last time I was here. Grammar, grammar, and oh yeah, more grammar. THe business computer applications class is actually teaching me things. There are things that I can do in Word now that I couldn't do, or even knew about, before. So far my mark in that class is 86% I think.
Well, that's all for now really.
Peace out holmes,

| So, school has started again. I'l back at the Gonq, for Business Administration. So far, my accounting, law, English, and marketing classes are cake walks. Microeconomics may be a bit hard, but I doubt it.
Haven't really made any friends yet, but I plan on doing so. It's hard making friends. It probably doesn't help that I'm a bit shy around people I don't know at all. But I'm sure once we start doing some group projects and discussions, I'll make some friends.
Got tix for RHCP at the end of the month. If anyone who actually reads this (and I think that maybe 2 or 3 people do) is in town on the 29th, and want to go, drop me a line by the 22nd or so.
And speaking of concerts, I really want to go and see The Who on the 15th. I don't have the money for it though. So if someone has tix for that, and are looking for someone to go with, I'm your man. It may even be reciprocated with a RHCP concert, I'm willing to make a deal.
So, that's really all I have to say at the moment, I think.
See ya around,

| So, got fired from the golf club that I was working at. Supposedly for "not doing my duties." Whatever. I was quitting at the end of the month for school and I wasn't going back next year. SO it ties in. Maybe a bit early, but whatever.
My boss there didn't know hos ass from a hole in the ground. Throughly retarded. The worst manager I've ever worked for. Stupid, little, ugly french guy. Bah. | comments: Leave a comment |
| Is it just me or parents raising their kids to be wusses? My dad's cousin (at least I think that the relation, I'm not 100% sure) has a kid. He's 7 years old. They were up at my cottage today with us, and the kid still wears a life jacket to swim in the lake. Now if my memory serves me correctly, I knew how to swim without a life jacket at the age of 7. I learned how to opperate the small motor boat when I was 10. I don't know of any kids these days, who at 10 can opperate a motor boat. Also, this kid only weighed 43 pounds. I found that to be rather on the light side. Maybe it's just because I'm fat, but I'm pretty sure every boy in my class at that age was at least over 50 pounds. He's basically a weiner kid. They had him wearing those nylon shoes that some people wear when they are canoeing or something like that. They made him wear those while swimming. Our lake is nowhere near rocky enough to justify wearing those shoes. Granted, we have a gravel driveway with some stones on it, so I can see maybe wearing them then. But how is he supposed to toughen up his feet? I can remember staying up at my cottage for 2 weeks at a time, and maybe wearing shoes for a total of 1 day. Bare feet all the time. My feet were so tough, that I got a splinter in one of them, and I didn't even feel it. Someone else saw it and told me.
Kids these days are pretty much all spoiled, wussy, weiner kids. The ones that live in the boonies/country, are a lot tougher, that's a given. But all these sub-urban kids are going to be raped by society when they get older. All because they didn't toughen up their feet.
That's my rant.
23 in 2 weeks.

| | Why the fucking hell is tuition so fucking high? How can they possibly justify that price? And parking passes are fucking expensive too. If I want a green pass (which is parking in the boonies of the parking lot if you are later in the day) is four hundred fucking dollars! Bullshit! And I know for a fact that they oversell them based on the fact that not everyone is there all day every day. Fucking garbage. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |

| Oh yeah. I got some tix for the RHCP concert in September. Cost me $170 and change, but it's totally worth it. I just won't tell my parents because I haven't paid them rent in about six months. I'll tell them around the time the concert is.
So now I have to find someone to go with, but I won't start asking until August or so. Unless of course, it comes up in conversation and they like RHCP too.
So waking up uber-early really sucks. I had to wake up at 5 this morning to be at work for 6, and I have to be up at 6 tomorrow morning to be at work for 7. I had to do that last weekend too. I kind of sucks because if I wanted to do something on Saturday night, I wouldn't be able to because of the early morning the next day. Oh well. It's all about the Benjamins (or in Canadian terms, all about the Lauriers).
I rented "Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior" today. That is one slick motherfucker. Some of the shit that guy does is insane. Jumping through a ring of barbed wire, while running away from bad guys and not getting a single cut, nuts. Flying through the air to double knee drop a guy through some scaffolding, crazy. And the dude actually did all the stunts. damn crazy mofo.
Well, seeing as I've been up since 5, I'm going to bed now so I'll have a decent amout of sleep for tomorrow's early shift.
Peace out, y'all

| So I bought the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album about a week ago, and I have to say it's frigging awesome. Tons of wicked songs.
And I read in the paper the other day, that RHCP are coming to Ottawa this fall. Tickets go on sale on Friday. I have to get some. It is not an option to not get them. I went to the RHCP concert that was here a few years ago. I loved it. This time though, I'm going to get seats where I can see the whole stage. The last time I was sitting stage left on the 200 section at the then Corel Centre. I'm probably going to get 200 level again, front row, center stage. I would love to get GA (General Admission) but I don't have the funds to do that.
So I'll probably get 2 or 3 tickets. Maybe 4 and sell the other 2 on ebay maybe, haha.
So anyone who wants to go, leave me a message on here, or e-mail me.
Oh, and we're moving on Wednesday. I'm kind of nervous about it. The house I'm in, is the only one that I have any memories of. We moved here when I was 2. I'm now 22. That's twenty years in one house. Also in the new house, I won't have an actual room until we finish the basement. My bro and I are going to have rooms in the basement. We'll have our own bathroom as well. But we have to build the whole fucking thing. Framing, electrical, plumbing, drywall (that's going to be the suckiest part), paint, trim, and flooring. I'm not exactly looking forward to that. Also, I don't know how I'm going to decorate my room, so if anyone has some ideas, and you think I'll like them, leave a message here. We can have a painting party when it comes time to do that.
Oh, and I'm going to get a laptop for school this fall. Any suggestions along those lines will be welcomed.
Well, that's all that's new with me.
Holla, ya heard?

| I saw "The Davinci Code" on Friday. I saw it with my friend Ally, her roommate Cassandra, and Cassandra's boyfriend.
It was actually pretty random. I was at the Wal-mart near my house because I needed cleaning solution for my shaver. I was in line and saw Ally. I found out she live about 3 mins away so I offered her and her roommate (with whom she was at Wal-mart) a ride home. They invited me in and I asked Ally if she wanted to go see the movie on Sunday. After looking online for tickets, we decided to go Friday morning at 10:05. So the next morning, I drove over, picked them up, then we went and saw the movie.
It was pretty good. A few variations from the book, but nothing major. Like I've always said, movie reviewers are always wrong (except for "Troy" and "Alexander" as those were some pretty horrible movies). I think all the reviewers were basing their reviews on how the movie corresponds with the book. That never works. If you see the movie as a movie and not as an interpretation of the book, it's pretty damn good. I would see it again, and I'll probably buy the DVD when it comes out.
Anywho, working a lot this week. I don't have a day off until next Sunday. I'm also working at 7am tomorrow at the gas station. That's going to be rough. But it is time-and-a-half so it's good.
I'm moving in a week and a half. I have to pack my shit up. That's going to take a while. And when we move, I won't have a room until we finish the basement. I'll be sleeping in the laundry room. Fun will be had by all. Except me of course.
Well, that's all. I think.

| If I ever take someone's morning shift at the gas station knowing that I'm working at 5pm at the golf course, I give anyone permission to smack me up-side the head. I've been up since 6:15am. I know I won't get home before 10:30pm tonight. Well, at least I'm not working tomorrow. I can sleep all I want.
Also, "The DaVinci Code" comes out on Friday. I'll probably see it either Friday before work at the gas station, or on Sunday.
That is all. | comments: Leave a comment |
